Welcome, friend! I’m so grateful you’ve volunteered to help share the audiobook of Home Town Melody with the world. This page will give you everything you need to know — from how to listen early to how reviews will work once promo codes arrive. Bookmark this page so you can come back to it later!
1. Start Listening Early
You should already have your early access copy of the audiobook, which was delivered via BookFunnel in a separate email.
You can listen using the BookFunnel app or download the files to your preferred device. If you run into any issues, BookFunnel support is fantastic and happy to help.
2. Why You Can’t Review Yet
Audiobook platforms work differently than ebooks:
- Audible and Spotify require you to either purchase the audiobook OR redeem a free promo code before they’ll let you leave a review.
- I do not expect you to purchase the book! I don’t have the promo codes yet — my distributor INAudio is still rolling the book out across all platforms — but I expect to receive them within the next couple of weeks (God willing!).
- As soon as I have them, I’ll email you your personal code and step-by-step instructions on where and how to post your review.
In the meantime, you can start listening now so you’ll be ready to leave your review quickly when the codes arrive.
3. Where to Review
Once we’re live everywhere and you have your promo code, you’ll be able to review on:
- Audible (link will be added when available)
- Spotify (link will be added when available)
- Apple Books (link will be added when available)
- Kobo (Review whenever you like, mentioning you heard the audiobook)
- Barnes & Noble (Review whenever you like)
- Goodreads (Review whenever you like, mentioning you heard the audiobook)
- Bookbub (Review whenever you like, mentioning you heard the audiobook)
4. Review Tips ✍️
Don’t worry about writing anything long or formal — just a few sentences is perfect! Here are some ideas:
- What did you enjoy most about the story or characters?
- How did the narration add to the experience?
- Would you recommend it to someone who enjoys contemporary Christian romance?
