What kind of year have you had? 2021 has been tough for many people I know. Some have faced life-changing hardships, including serious sickness, bereavement, job losses and relationship breakdowns. Others have received unprecedented blessings and joys. None of them knew what lay ahead as they flipped over their brand new calendars and stepped into the new year. My year has been a mix of the meh, the disappointing, the scary, and the “wow! Thank you, Lord!”
We don’t know what’s in store for any of us as we enter 2022, but what is for certain is that God is in control, He is good, and He loves us with an everlasting love. That is enough to keep me looking forward. Besides, I naturally like new things and fresh starts. And for that reason, I’m celebrating. So, happy new year to you!
